Get there early, soak in the atmosphere, and be ready to go. We recommend arriving 45–60 minutes before your start to park, check in, and get race-ready.

Bib/Packet Pick-Up
Race bibs and welcome kits can be collected on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM outside MUDDUCKS CAFE.

Official event merchandise will also be available for purchase during this time.
​
Race-day bib collection will be available at the park and closes 30 minutes before each race start.
Bag Drop Details
A secure bag drop service will be available on race morning for your convenience.

Please label your belongings using the provided tag to ensure a smooth and efficient collection post-race.

Bag drop is located at the Old Woolshed.
GETTING TO "THAT PLACE - MTB Park"
Located approximately 25 minutes from Whanganui CBD, nestled in the heart of the region's most pristine terrain.
Head north-east on State Highway 4. Follow the signs toward National Park. The park entry is clearly marked with 'THAT RACE' sign.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that access include sections of narrow, one-way gravel roads. Follow marshal instructions for safe entry and exit.

Rules & Restrictions
Headphones are not recommended due to terrain. Pacing is allowed without pushing/pulling. Mandatory gear may apply; check Race Info for details.
Start Position
Place yourself at the start line according to your speed—faster runners at the front, and steadier starters further back.
POST-RACE INFO

Medal Collection
Head to the designated tent near the finish line to collect your hard-earned finisher's medal.

Prize-Giving
Stay for the ceremony at the main stage at 1:00 pm - where we celebrate our winners and hand out special awards.
